Would you use 2" x 72" 800 grit if you could buy in small quantities?

    Hi Guys,

If I stocked the 800 grit Silicon Carbide belt and you could purchase in ANY quantity... would that be useful to you? I have had one request for 800 grit, so I just want to know if anyone else would be likely to pick some up in the future (other wise the minimum order is 12 belts)

    Currently I am stocking:

    36 grit Ceramic
    50 grit Zirconia
    80 grit Ceramic
    120 grit A/O
    240 grit A/O
    400 grit A/O
    Fine Scotchbrite

    Thanks!

Hey Rob, if I can get my grinder to run really slow I might be interested in the 800 grit belts. Do you think you'll ever get 50 grit in ceramic?

I do have some 800 grit jflex belts but have never used them yet. Its not an issue of them not being useful, but for me, its just an issue of my grinder running too fast right now. At 4000 sfpm, i think they will produce too much heat. When i get it slowed down i think they would be useful.

50 grit ceramic is no problem... I just need to find out how many people would use them and how many per year or so...

If a number of you would use the 50grit Ceramic, I will order in 50 at a time for my stock... this gives you the best possible pricing. I need to see sales of at least 150 belts per year to do this.

I can order at any time for you in minumum qty of 12 belts. This takes 5 working days + shipping time to get to you.

So... the question is how many of you would use the 50 grit ceramic and perhaps a "guess" at how many per year each??

Ok if you have 60 grit ceramic I'm sure that would be just as good as the 50 grit. I'm just use to using 50 grit for my bevels. I'm not sure if I could handle 36 grit lol.

I wish I could give some input but I'm so new to these belts I don't even know how long a belt will last or even which grits I prefer.
