Forum is very quiet these days Jeff, and I don’t know much about Log splitter to forging press conversions. What is the plan and modifications needed with this 6 ton splitter?
Hi Griff, There are a few YouTube videos showing how to do it. I just need to make a stand and dies. The interchangeable dies will be the challenge. The bonus to the one I shared is that it already has a foot pedal. I hope the forum picks up . Once I start forging I know I will have lots of questions and will share my work. Currently just building my forge out of Seacan. Figure I can't burn that down...lol.
