Well, according to classic Dungeons & Dragons or even video games like Skyrim, wands and staffs are something like a battery. They can source magical energy and need to, occasionally, be recharged. I prefer the Harry Potter interpretation though. In Rowling's books they're not batteries but more like an instrument. They are used to channel or focus the wielders magical energies. They're needed due to the chaotic and unpredictable nature of magic. And yes, I know how silly it sounds to expound on the nature of something completely fictional. Even worse, addressing the various aspects of multiple interpretations. I was a very unusual kid, what can I say. I'm all better now : ) I suspect we may have one or two closet tabletop RPG'ers in the forum... anyone?
That's the effect I was going for...natural elements….Todd I am soooo going to make you a magic wand! any preference ?
