I have two(2) 5HP 3 phase motors collecting dust in my garage. Can I use them for a 2x72 grinder? I know the VFD for one will be expensive. The motors are a Baldor and a Siemens. I also have an old school 5HP phase convertor collect dust as well? I need to test it first. I wonder if I can make use of that as well. Please, any thoughts????
