Two 8" Filleting Knives going to Ontario for Christmas presents. The top guy is made from 3/32" AEB-L stock with a stabilized curly blue dyed maple handle. The bottom is made from 3/32" 154CM stock with stabilized Karelian birch with 304 SS bolsters. Both are taken from the same pattern, but each has its own tweaks and handle mods for smaller/larger hands. The thumb rises and finger choils make for a very secure feeling when gripped. The result of heat treat and thin blade geometry these are amazingly flexible. Someone is getting these for Christmas, so it's off to the leather store to buy a shoulder. Thanks for looking! Dan
Saw and liked them on Instagram first, but I’ll say it here, beautiful work Dan. Design and choice of wood colour on both is perfect. Amazing job!
Thanks guys. It's going to be a busy next three weeks for me. Lots of orders to get out. I will gladly share the pics here. Dan
