    fella came by and picked out this pattern (left) for himself and his boy

    going with 440C
    [​IMG]

    KMG grinder to stock remove most of the material, cleaning up here with poorman's horizontal grinder
    [​IMG]

    profiled and ready for cleaning up the flats
    [​IMG]

    ..........Paragon Kiln blues has halted this knife making WIP , still trying to figure out with Paragon what ''isn't'' working with my kiln .....
    brand new first fire and I'm getting various error readings pointing to the thermocouple but Paragon thinks otherwise.........their customer service dept is the S***S !!.
    Very frustrating as I had to resort to old school and have them sent away for heat treat :mad:

    ....really happy with the outcome, handle finished to 1000 grit , needs an edge and a sheath
    not the best picture's but you get the idea...........

    THE HOLLOW GRIND TWIN ALMOST FINISHED WITH SOME BEAUTIFUL HONDURAN ROSEWOOD , PICTURE DOESNT DO THE GRAIN JUSTICE, STAINLESS PINS , WHITE HANDLE SPACER AND SOME SPURS FROM SPAIN
    NEEDS A SHEATH.............

    Looks good Rob! I didn't realize that you and BCROB from k-net are the same person lol. I guess I'm a little slow some days haha.

    No problem at all , I always take lots of pics, I have many more of the in-between stages , handles , pins , heat treat, flats etc , if your interested.......................
