It worked. One thing, however. Once you've put the images into Photobucket, go into your album choose the "" line to paste into your posts. That will insert a full-sized image rather than the small version. For the post above, you would copy the line [NOPARSE][IMG]http://i1165.photobucket.com/albums/q588/shadman13/knives/swords017.jpg[/NOPARSE] and paste it in as is. That would insert the image at full size like this:
You've got it now. I like the knife, too. Your photo of it is fine, the issue is with the lighting. Looks like you're just using the flash on your camera. The easy answer is to build a light box. There's a simple (and cheap) tutorial right here. The tutorial mentions using daylight bulbs, but a couple of compact fluorescent bulbs are easier to come by. Get ones that are equivalent of 60w bulbs. If you can, get some that have the light temperature listed (It's measured on the Kelvin scale, so it will say something like 6500K). That way, if you use software like Photoshop Elements, you can dial in the exact light temperature and get a true colour image.
