I havnt gotten a decent stabilizing system rigged up yet, so for this knife I thought I'd try making some micarta! This is a gift for a friend staying with me for a month then driving his motorcycle back to Calgary.. I told him he'd need something to fight of the crazies and possibly bears, wolves, cougars, rabid beavers etc.
nice 3 differnt polishes on the blade ? cant wait to see the finished knife . long ride for your friend on a bike .
Your micarta is looking great, that blade is too. I'd say that would keep the crazies away! Looking forward to pics of the finished knife.
Can't wait to see it finished. Nice blade and bevels too. Is that different colors of denim you used in the micarta?
Thanks guys! The blade has 2 finishes, I sanded the flats to matt them up a bit. I'm not sure what the material was,. Just cotton I think , 2 different colors but one had a dark and a light side.
