Not very often I have three of anything here at the same time, so I took a pic. These are all AEB-L honesuki wa. The left two are 3/32" and the the right is more of a garasuki wa at 1/8" thick. Hand material is desert ironwood, stabilized koa and renaissance acrylester. The left guy is a hidden tang with a nut and plugged butt end which worked out really well. Here are some pics of the construction. I made a slotted "nut" by drilling and tapping some 1/4" brass round. This lets one use a smaller hole in the handle than when using a hex nut. Once all is epoxied and set I cut the excess wooden plug off. Thanks for looking. Dan
