Welcome to the 2013 Winter KITH, The Vikings. This KITH (Knife In The Hat) build is open to all members of the forums, regardless of your skill level. This is not a contest. It's about having fun and learning to make something new. The rules for this one are simple; build something in the tradition of, or influenced by, viking styles. You can make a knife, a sword, an axe, or whatever you choose. You can go with something historically accurate, or something that wouldn't look out of place in your favourite viking movie or television program. At the end of the build, the participants' names will be put in a hat and the finished work will be exchanged based on a random draw. (Please keep in mind the cost of sending a broadsword or battle-axe across the country when choosing what to build.) The KITH begins September 1, 2013. Your work must be complete by December 1, 2013. The draw will follow immediately after the end date. Anyone who wishes to enter, send a PM to RobW with your Real name and mailing address before Sept 1. We'll put the list of participants up here.
