Here is the first knife I have completed. It's far from perfect, but not a bad start I think. Everything was done by hand, other than a little bit of grinding with an angle grinder, and some polishing with an air powered die grinder and a small pad that I attached some sandpaper to (which actually kind of ruined the blade by leaving marks on it). I had spent hours on filing the bevels by hand, and I broke down and bought an angle grinder to get it done a little faster. It was supposed to be a kitchen knife, but I got a little too carried away with the angle grinder, so I ended up having to re-design the blade. It's made from CPM154 stainless, maple burl handle, and brass pins.
