The First Blade

    so i am brand new to this site, i am in dartmouth novascotia, just wanted to post a few pics of my first knife to date. I am really happy with the result and looking forward to make many more.

    What steel did you use? Is that etch or pattern welded?

    its O-1 , with a mustard patina, i had to use an angle grinder to rough in the bevels and finish with files....pain in the a%% haha... just bought a 4x36 combo so that should make my life a bit easier

    Really nice, Bob! Both the knife and the sheath. Love the way you fitted the sheath to the knife handle.
