So I’m currently in Maine at the New England School of Metalwork for two weeks and have completed the first week in the ABS intro to Bladesmithing course and I have 8-9 blades done in various stages. This course allows a one year reduction in the wait time to test as a journeyman smith within the ABS! I highly recommend the course to Canadian as they are run in a few areas in the states but the Maine location is great for maritimers. If you have any questions shoot away!
That's a great opportunity to learn from some top quality people. Whether or not you decide to go for a JS or MS, it will certainly push your knifemaking skills farther.
