Has anyone used Tagua Nuts on a knife handle? pommels, inserts or bands for example.

Supposed to be harder than wood when carving but softer than stone and can be dyed with vegetable dyes. Something I am seriously considering stocking in its raw form if there is interest.

Also known as vegetable Ivory, Some basic information on my web site: Tagua Nuts
