I've always dealt with Don at WoodStabilizer.com in B.C. but I spotted another site operating out of Toronto. I think this may be affiliated with WoodChuckers. https://www.stabilizedwood.ca/collections/all-products Nice looking stuff. Dan
Sweet. I enjoyed working with the stabilized wood I good from woodchuckers on the one chef's knife I made last year . On that note too, it seems being away from the grinder has taken my skill level back down a few notches...two knives I had rough ground last year, with already established bevels...well...let's just say they've gone from being a pair drop-point hunters to being kiridashi projects! But hey, like they say, 'Knife makers don't make mistakes...they just make smaller knives!'
It has been a year for me not being able to be around sharp things and when the day comes I grind another knife I can just imagine the horror show
