South Sami Style Knife

    This one has sheath made in south Sami style - with almost no hook or bend.

    Blade hand forged by my friend Alessio Salsi from Belgium. It's 115W8 steel, 100x24x4 mm.
    Handle - reindeer antler and birch root burl.
    Sheath - reindeer antler and vegetable tanned leather.
    Sami style carving on all antler parts.[​IMG]

    Beautiful work! It was actually this style of knife that got me into knifemaking in the first place!
