    I'll try to resume my work for the last two years in this post to avoid creating a lot of threads for my work. For the new knives i will create another thread.

    I don't forge for now, all my work is stock removal.

    so let's begin with one of my oldest folder :

    O1 blade, stainless scales. 97mm closed, 134mm open, 60mm blade.

    1084 steel, selective quench, cocobolo scales. Total lenght 140mm, 70mm blade.

    Awesome work! I was wondering, what do you do with that O1 to get the "hamon" do you edge quench and then do a deep etch?

    To metal99 : no edge quench, I always do a full quench for O1, the ''hamon'' is only an acid etch. I first do it accidentally by trying to protect the blade's edge with varnish when I was doing the patina. The blade came out with this fake hamon. After that it sort of became my ''mark'' with O1 blades.
    Only my 1084 and 1095 blades are edge quench.
