All are so we’ll done but I find both the blade and the burl on that last pic incredible. Thanks for showing us.
Thanks Joel ..... I think you and I are about the only ones still on this form ???????????????????????????????????
Sorry Cal - meant to comment earlier - beautiful work and everything just looks right. Congratulations. You're right, the forum has definitely gotten quieter over the last month or two for sure. Hopefully everybody is okay. We recently moved from Fort McMurray to St Albert and it's taking a lot longer than I thought it would to get set up again. To be fair we were in that house for thirty years so I had a long time to get stuff the way I like it. I'm close but not quite there yet. I was following your earlier post about keeping all the angled pieces together through glue-up but how do you attach to the tang at the butt? The angle must create a few challenges for any kind of threaded connection. Regards Dave
Well hopefully you can get back at knife making once you are settled in. Has anyone heard from Dan lately ??? I tried contacting him on Instagram and no reply.
I know what you mean about being slow. I tried that pole and only got one vote from Joel. And Forge your knives are always inspiring to look at.
Haha, seems like it. Also haven’t heard from Dan for a long time. Hope he’s alright and just taking a break from the internet for a bit lol
