Friends, some photos of a piece made about 12 years ago that was quite beautiful despite its somewhat short size.
This is a one-piece bowie with a classic English design, although with a slightly wider blade than usual (compared to a Rodgers for example).
The damascus is a ladder pattern W that was very nice, both on the blade and on the handguard (body and balls in one piece).
The handle grips are made of premium red deer, riveted with nickel silver pins.
The sheath is made of English-style cowhide, seam in the middle, with alpaca fittings.
Thanks so much for looking. Saludos.

Excellent knife with a stunning pattern!

When you say ‘short’...what length was the blade? Looking at the photo’s in relation to the handle I am guessing 5” (127mm)?

You're right Griff, it's been a long time since then and I don't exactly remember the measurements but what you say must be very approximate.
    Thank you for your comments.
