How much time do you get in the shop ?

do you get enough time in your knife making shop ?
    not enough time ?
spending to much time in there ?

............for me I don't get enough time it seems lately, busy schedule, 2 very busy kids (8 & 10) ,full time career and knife making as a passionate hobby on the side that I'd love to devote more time to. I try and get out to my 18x24 work shop at least once a day to tinker a bit, finish something on one while waiting or starting something on another. Just curious...............

I try to get out to the shop for an hour or so, at least two or three nights a week, though it doesn't always work out. I used to spend all Sunday afternoon out in the shop too, but those also seem fewer and farther between lately. It seems to be the right amount for me. When I get into the shop, I have enough time to actually get something done, so I come away with a sense of accomplishment (unless I screw something up) and a desire to get back out there next time.

I've got an 18x20 shop too. Okay, so it's really a garage and I have just one little corner in the front to work in, but it's my corner!
