Had some one ask me to look at building a horizontal back carry scout sheath so I decided to experiment using my TripleX Bushman Pro and cam up with this.

Ambidextrous back carry carry that can also be used as a left or right cross draw.

10 oz leather with 2 oz liner so the snap backs don't rub the handle. Hand peened solid copper rivets.

Needs a couple of tweaks but it works.

Learned how to tie a para-cord strap as a bonus.

Nice, not sure I would ever hammer out that many rivets in a month but they look nice.

I love scout carry sheaths. Sometimes it's hard to reach with short stubby arms (like mine), but i love them. Keeps the knife out of the way. I"m notorious for scraping my cell phone off on the edge of something and losing it. Same with knives.
