This past weekend we held our annual hammer in. There were 16 forgers in attendance traveling from Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg and the local Regina group. We had about 8 forges fired up, a press and rolling mill as well as a salt pot for heat treating. Everyone had a great time and made a lot of stuff. Forging Hawks from ball peen hammers seemed to be the attraction this year. Here are pictures of the event and some of the items fellows brought for display.
I know I would go back in a heartbeat. One of the best weekends I have had in a while. And I managed to track down all the forge parts so I have it running now. All that's left is absolutely everything else lol.
