I have some red deer antler and was wondering how it would work out for a handle. I'm assuming it should be stabilized some how. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Get acouple cans of miniwax wood hardener. And use the canning method to stabalize it. Easiest way to do it without the whole big process if its a one off. Good luck.

Antler does not really have to be stabilized of course doing it won’t hurt much.

One tip have the tang and pin holes in place before stabilizing. Makes life much easier
