I just finished another razor. All metal, 1095 with a hamon. I did a heavy etch on the handle. Had to stick it in a old hunk of firewood just for fun

yes, not the big ones just the small ones. This is one was too small for a decent handle block. I have found the odd piece of birds eye as well. Thanks for the comments guys
Mmmm Hamon. Beautiful. I asked my father over Xmas about what wood he burns (PEI) he said maple and birch, so he's keeping an eye out for burls and spalted..basically anything that has contrast. Fingers crossed
With the maple Burl I would start making scales or blocks of it and sell online. The razor is amazingly done, trying to work on one myself. AWESOME WORK!
