Prevention To Stop Dye From Leaching Out In Wet Weather

    This may be an extension of Dave's question about the hardening of leather after staining which I have encountered, however, Neets Foot oil really helps in this regard, at least for what I am using. My dilemma and concern is the dye seemingly leaking off completed sheaths in wet weather, even after applications of Neets Foot oil, Mink oil and various types of waxes. Should I be using something else to apply after dyeing which might help alleviate the leaching problem. I, too, have been using the Feibings stains and dyes - Eco-Flo water based mostly.
