Pair Of Kogatanas

    A pair of kogatanas, all made of 1095 steel, water quenched.
    Micro paracord wrap, stabilized with epoxy.
    Really simple, thin knives.


    First one, 18.5cm overall, blade is 8 cm long :

    These are way cool Fred. I love the traditional look of them. I've just added this type of knife to my 'must make' list.

    Thank you, these are fast to do, really simple knives.
    Perfect when you just want to grind steel to get a cutter without all the handle work ;)

    I love the geometry and the hamon of course. Again, some cool knives Fred. Well done.

    He certainly is the master of the Hamon. Some of them have almost a ribbon like effect. Great camera skills to. Adds to the lure of his posts. I'd also like to try a simple blade like this someday
