If anyone is interested in any aspects of wet shaving, Straights, safety razors, brushes, etc. there will be a small gathering at the Kent of Inglewood on Whye Ave in Edmonton on Saturday, January 16 from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. There will be a station set up to test out gear if you have thought about trying but haven't taken the plunge yet. Also, myself and possibly another razor maker will be there if you want to talk shop. As an added bonus, they also have axes and some nice knives there as well. Oh, and possibly cocktails. Sorry for the short notice, but PM me if you are interested.
If Missy and I aren't at the Motorcycle show that weekend, I might stop by. No plans on losing the beard until spring, but it's always fun to check stuff out.
Looks like Missy and I will be taking in the Motorcycle show, so I'll try to time it so we can get there. Parking is retarded in terms of price at Northlands, and availability on Whyte, so we'll be taking the bus.
