Hey guys hows it going? I have no knifemaking experience but I have been dabbling in refurbishing old knives and tools recently and I just moved to Canada, where I now have much more of a realistic chance of making a shop in the foreseeable future. For the time being I just want to absorb information, meet people and do as much as I can.
Welcome, Noah. There's plenty to learn and lot's of mistakes to make along the way, but it's all fun. And here, you'll find lots of good advice from folks who've made most of the mistakes and done their best to learn from them.
Welcome Noah. Sort of new here myself and doing the same thing - reworking old knives, particularly, old butcher knives, handles, profiles and sheaths mainly for hunting purposes. Very addictive and glad to have your eyes and voice "in the mix" here.
