Hi folks, I've been following the site for a little while; there's some really talented makers here. A bit about me: I live just north of Winnipeg and am rapidly approaching middle age. I've only finished a hand full of knives so far, and most have what I would call fatal flaws, but I've actually had this hobby for a few years now (I tend to get distracted building tools - heat treat oven, forging press). My background is engineering, which helps with some of the more technical aspects of the hobby. I have a piece just about finished which seems to have turned out well. Hi Magnus. Welcome to the forum. Great to have another seasoned (aka rapidly approaching middle age) individual around I like building tools almost as much a making knives. It's a good thing that one pays for the other. Looking forward to some pictures. Dan
