Good day! I am new to both knifemaking and forging. I recently took a weekend blacksmithing class, and I really enjoyed it! I have come to the conclusion that this is definitely a hobby I want to pursue, and would be perfect as I thoroughly enjoy working with metal. I have been reading as much as I can on blacksmithing, forging, and knifemaking as I acquire some of the tools I will need. I recently picked up a decent anvil (for my needs and skill set), and just got my hands on a propane forge yesterday. I can’t wait to jump in and start practicing, and really enjoy the forum and the great extent of knowledge and advice that appears to be here. Cheers, Jon
