New guy from the east

    Hi all
    I'm a new guy from Nova Scotia. I have been forging knives since November 2010. Here is my best effort to date

    The hawk is forged from 4140 and has an ash handle. The bowie is forged from 52100 with a cherry handle. Since I lack experience I'm always looking for input on my work. I look forward to learning lots on this fourm.

    Hi Brad, I am new here and I am just starting into Blacksmithing also with my two teen boys age 14 & 15. I live in Debert Nova Scotia. Lets get together for sure and help each other learn the craft etc. Or I should say I will learn from you LOL, as I am starting your 1+ years ahead. Cheers
