New Damascus skinner in the works, here's what I got so far!!!
Nice. Can't wait to see that one finished!
Me too Icho once heat treated I'm going to have to etch it to really bring the pattern out..
Looking great so far Steve. I really like that raindrop pattern
Got the bevel mostly ground today!
Finished Damascus blade 8" with red amboyna handles, blue spacers, Mexican Agate strue stone and some filework on the spine...
That turned out real nice. One of these days if I ever finish all of my ongoing projects I have to try some file work.
Thanks Icho, the handle material I had planned totally failed due to be brittle but I found some recycled shop material to make it work. I think you would like doing file work but if your anything like me there is so much I want to try and so much more I don't want to screw up...lol!!!
Lol yep that's about right. I don't have ttime to screw up right now.
Put the final edge on this blade today and finally ready to go!!!
:clap2::clap2::clap2: , looks good Steve
