A friend asked for a skinning knife nice and solid and wood handle colors, red and bit of gold.

need a little smoothing and texturing in a couple of spots on the sheath still just trying not to get to carried away so keep stopping.

finally found out after four trips back to the 800 grit belt that my black buffing wheel was putting in scratches. One of those very course things with straw in it? not sure but it was frustrating, last trip was all by hand from 600-2000 then buffing.

Nice Nessmuck Mr. Noon. Black and red always go good with each other. Ditto on the leatherwork ... love the sheath.

Very nice. I like how the bolsters follow the plunge cut. Nice touch.

If I said 100% planned that way it would be a lie. We will call it happy coincidence that it came out as good as it did but I plan on another with all hidden pins.
