For many years I though of making a katana sword but always found that my skills where not to par. mind you they are still very far from it. so I am now settling for something different, I recently found a old katana display sword kit all rusted out and yes very cheap, and decided to take the blade portion , cut it to size and clean it off and rebuilt it from scratch. so starting with the handle, I decided to carve out a dragons head, so far its going nicely but very slow process....here are the updated result. hope you guys like it. the carving is all free hand and design also.
