My Bowie Project

    Hey guys and gals, well this was my first attempt at making a Bowie. Used 01 steel for the blade, for the hand guard tried something that I never attempted before, Casted aluminium...and for the handle, a piece of white tail deer antler. I think that this int going to be my last bowie project! :)
    Tips, comments, and criticism are all welcome!

    That's really cool. Did you sand cast the aluminum?

    Thank you, yes I did...but thinking for the next one to use a two part molding rubber for casting metal.
