anyone else crazy enuf to lose some finger tips-fun way to get rid of some scraps
Those are awesome. Looks like a pile of work into the poll hawk. i really like the bowie at 3:00 and the sharpfinger style at about 8:00. have you tried heat treating any of them?
Those are great. They remind me of a thread we had quite a while ago..
Here it is
yup I'm eyeballing the sharpfinger too !!
that little sharp finger is a copy of the first knife i made 34 years ago-any notice the one on the quarter?
most are heat treated though dont generally sharpen most
here is that knife-first"real knife" i ever made.made from an old seeder disc-a type of oil hardening steel with a walnut slab handle from an old piece of furniture.knife was used extensivly so i know it worked
Some really nice work with these tiny blades, really impressive. It surely take lot of patience to realize such little knives.
I don't know if my brain could handle that strain! Great job! Where did you find such a small antler base for that bowie at 3:00?
actually it is a fine tip of an antler-just carved with a dremel
Ahhh makes sense lol.
Thats amazing. I don't think my big fat fingers would physically let me make something that intricate and detailed. Very cool.
