Hello all! =) I'm happy to have made it to the forum. I live in BC. Although I'm no "stranger" to the knife making game, I am happy to say, I'm finally going to be able to jump in with both feet and spend far more time doing what I enjoy most! I have a background in fabrication. I've been making various things throughout my whole life, but I have a passion for working with steel. From car chassis to 2"x72" belt grinders, to firearms gunsmithing... I simply can't get enough. Having just purchased a new home, I will be renovating my basement and will be building my very own knife smithy! =) I designed my own tactical folders in the past and will be spending some quality time getting to know them better. Thank you for having me, I look forward to being a productive member here! Connor
Good morning and thanks fellas. I'm anxious to get started. It's going to be hard to step away from reading the forums to get some work done. There are some seriously talented individuals here! I've been making and selling grinders this last month and recently met a fellow knife maker who was interested in buying one. He told me about this site. Until only a couple of days ago, I didn't know the forum existed. It's nice to meet Canadian knife makers!
Welcome to CKM, ConnorBC. Can't wait to see what you're going to make in your new shop! Hey, we're Canadian. We have to be understated.
Proud to be a Canadian knife maker! We take possession of the house on the 27th. And the shop walls go up on the weekend of the 29th! I have to say, I'm more than just a little excited! I have my air filtration ready to set up in my grinding room and newly constructed work benches stacked and ready for action!
I posted these in the classifieds to start. I'm super proud of them. %5BURL=http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Blealth/media/IMG_4896_1.jpg.html][/URL]

Thanks guys. I'm super excited to get it finished up. I have a space 40' by 12' to build the smithy with grinding room inside the smithy! Life is good!
Those grinders look amazing Connor! And I am jealous of anyone who has a 'shop' lol...as I am still at single car garage level...y'know suburban knife maker style
Hahahahaha!!! That's awesome! If you are turning out blades like that "suburban knife maker style" You're going to be UNSTOPPABLE!
