Hey i'm looking for a traditional custom bowie knife to be forged If you can ship it to Ontario then i'm looking for a 10 in long bowie made from carbon steel with an rustic aged look. the width should be about 3 in smaller or wider is open for change. thickness i would like to keep under 1/4 in but that to is open to change. The guard should be iron and of the S type size is up to you depending on what works best. I'm looking for a stag crown handle keep it short 5 in or under. if you could do a some kind of light file work on the spine that would be good. the short or back edge must be sharpened. The sheath i would like to be leather with no belt loop and a frog for carrying it. keep the sheath relatively plain. if you can't to leather work thats fine. This may be up your alley @Brad after seeing your blackout bowie. Another maker I could suggest is Garth Heindmarch (not sure on spelling exactly) from the Carlyle area. He does excellent work and i believe the majority of knives he makes are Bowies. Another maker with beautifully crafted Bowies on this forum would be @FORGE. I have seen some of his bowies in person and they are stunning as are his sheaths. There may be other guys but thats just off the top of my head.
