Greetings, I'm looking a Canadian Knife Making community which I hope to be part of. Little about me: I'm from Ottawa, Canada. I'm completely self-taught maker and started my 1st knife about a year and half ago. This year, I have found my niche or "style" and it's been going well for me. I try to specialize in Scandinavian type knives. You know, the Vikings and Old Norse. I want to stand out even further by making "luxurious" but usable knives. I like my knives used but also as a conversational piece. I'm hoping to continue this path and make friends along the line. Skal!
Hi and welcome to the forum! It would be awesome to see some of your creations. There are a few regulars here that are into traditional Nordic knives. Dan
Well, you found a Canadian knifemaking community here. And we're happy to have you as part of it. As Dan mentioned, we have some Scandi makers here (check out some of the work by @Roman I'm a Scandi lover myself, so I'm looking forward to seeing your stuff.
Welcome to the forum. Love scandi knives too. I"ve been at this for almost a year and I don't know that I have my "style" or "niche" yet. That's actually an interesting question. Anyway, nice to have you aboard! Looking forward to seeing your creations.
