Hi, I am looking for machinist's blue, layout dye, layout fluid or whatever you like to call it. A small amount will do. I've been to some of the regular hardware stores without any luck. Dan P.S. I am hoping that this was the right place to ask. It would relate to Canadian Suppliers.
That is something you will almost for sure have to get in Canada since it cannot be shipped air freight or across the border. Try checking any industrial suppliers that cater to machine shops like KBC Tools. I find a thick permanent marker works about as good.
I believe acklands grainger sells it. They didn't stock it in my area but said they could bring it in if I wanted.
I just came to post it. I saw it in their April catalog. It is pretty reasonable too at 11.50 for 90ml.
