I made this blade about 10 years ago and finally decided it was time to finish it or toss it. A buddy on mine in Windsor wanted a small skinner and so I blew the dust of of it and added a handle. The wood is something that a fellow I know brought back from Africa on one of his hunting trips. It is heavy and real oiley.
