A knife like this shows me how far I still have to go! Also even as long as I've been interested in knives and researching...how come, 'Lanny's,' is a new word to me...learn something everyday, and this is what I found... 'The design of the Lanny's Clip was an inspiration by Tony Bose for his friend Lanny Shell from Tennessee. Lanny saw the knife and bought the first ten that Tony produced.' That's great history, but what makes a 'Lanny' a 'Lanny?' Is it the shape, handle design, locking mechanics...all three? Also I have to ask, is it a,'Slip-joint?'
Hi Griff This lanny is taken directly from Tony`s pattern, he was kind enough to give it to me. So it is a "proper" Lanny`s clip if that makes sense. Yes it is a slipjoint. have a great week, Paul
