The dates are set for this year’s Metal Art Show and Sale in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. September 17 and 18, 2016!

Wanted to mention it now because this weekend event at the Reynolds-Alberta Museum is turning into a great custom knifemaker’s gathering. Last year we had 19 custom knifemakers from BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan displaying and selling their blades. We’re hoping for even more this year.

We also had a whole bunch of knifemakers (both novice and experienced) who just came by to chat and visit and share information, tips and tall tales when it came to their blade grinding adventures.

I’ll be putting the Exhibitor Registration form onto the Reynolds-Alberta Museum website in the near future. Right now you can have a look at who was displaying at last year’s show by clicking on this link:

Mark it in your calendars, everyone. I’m looking forward to another great knifemakers get-together!

Thanks Tim! I keep forgetting about the calendar on this forum. Guess I should ckeck a little more often.

And no need to thank me, Dan, because it's a whole bunch of fun for me to organize this kind of thing. And it pays off in droves when I get to see hundreds of gorgeous custom made knives and gab with the people who made them!
