Figured I had better start a new thread for this as its going to be the biggest WIP thread I will ever have...lol! Spent a good portion of the weekend working on some blades and hollow grinding till I hated the songs coming out of the stereo...lol, but managed to make some progress. 53 left to grind.

Totally Rob as you can see I strategically made my holes to accommodate with or without bolsters and/or lanyard hole as I'm sure there will be multiple versions in the end.

Wows Steve. That is one massive task ahead of you and one that I am sure you will finish with a lot of time to spare. (Although I do not envy you) haha. I can't wait to see them all completed. Are you making sheaths for them all?

you bet Kevin they will all have sheaths and the show is in July. I figured I should start now as I can't imagine the amount of time heat treating will take.

Nice. There's a task ahead of you. I like the profiles and good forethought on the holes allowing for multiple configurations. Did you cut them all out yourself? Looking forward to seeing the end result.

I had the blanks laser cut Ryan between the other knife orders this was the only way to go to save some time but none the less I suppose I have countless hours ahead of me.

Yup you've got some serious grinder time ahead of you. Are you going to throw any false edges on those.. As a way to change break up the design a bit but keep the same profile. Not that they need it. I already like the profile there... And what type of steel are you using?

I'm using CPM154 Ryan, the false edge idea is a thought, I might o few like that once the ret of the grinding is complete.

I'm starting to think you're crazy. Lol. Looking good. I still have to finish my Kith knife. It would have been done but I can't find my brass ball pummel. I think my son may have got to it when I forgot it on the coffee table. I do just about have my first sub hilt done. So for every 15-20 knives you make I almost finish one. Lol

Don't worry Icho...I'm only going a little crazy to stay on top of the show knive so I'm not fighting last minute. Especially with other orders I got 5 orders today alone I feel my head about to spin off..lol!

You are definitely being smart about it. Bust a$$ now so you can chill before the show unlike me. I kept putting it off then things kept coming up and I ended up not being as ready as I wanted to be for the show.

Totally agree my goal is 64 knives and even being 5 months away I still feel I'm being optimistic. But if I giver at worst case I will be close. I think I need about 4 more bench visas to speed up the handle process when I get to that point...haha!
