This might fit in the projects section but it's not a big project. One thing I'm working on is using my 3d printer to print out the handle section of one of @dancom patterns I found on his site. For some reason or another I cannot draw a handle to save my life. So with this it gives me a starting point and I can alter my handle designs from there. Dan I hope you don't mind and I'll post a pic once it's completed.

    Happy Easter everyone

I can't wait to see the pics. We have a small 3D printer at work but I haven't played with it. One of the things I do at work is run the 3D scanner. It fun when it is accurate. By accurate I'm talking within 0.003" lately we've been getting wacky scans. That is frustrating. Technology is cool!

Came out better than I expected since I have been having issues with my printer settings. Was and still borderline thinking about selling it (so I can buy proper tools so I can start making knives)

I will be printing some bigger ones next as this one came out a little to small for my hands.

Thank you. First time it's really come in handy for my interests. It's fun to make small trinkets etc but when you make something useful for your needs it's way better. On that note I might toss it up in the classifieds

Here's some theory on handle designs. If you listen to podcast, he's on " the knife journal "
