    Here are some Turkey Day specials.
    All have Iron wood handles ,micarta spacer and stainless fittings.
    The big one is forged from 52100 and acid dipped with a mustard patina.

    I see knives like that and I´m almost embarrassed to post what I produce.

    Very nice Cal! Love that big bearing cheffy with the SS butt.

    Do you do anything special to finish the ironwood? I have been buffing it only and it shines up nicely. Must be the natural oils in the wood.

    Dan I will usually coat it with a thin coat of CA to seal any small imperfections, sand it off and buff.
    It is the only natural wood that I have found for kitchen knives that still looks good 10 years after it has been put on.
    It will darken with time but does not shrink and fade out even like most stabilized wood will.
