HI, I am fairly new to stock removal knife making. I have forge knives before and it seems like I am going backwards as most people go from stock removal to forging. I don't have the space or equipment for forging and my neighbours are elderly and probably wouldn't like to hear the constant banging over at my place. I finally decided to dive right into stock removal so I'll have a bit to learn.

    Hey r-ice,

Good to see you here. Seems to be a good group here. Maybe you can hook-up with some local makers in your area where you can continue forging and not disturb your elderly neighbours. We all know how grumpy old people can be! :)

its okay, i want to try my hand at stock removal anyways, and it'll help me build up equipment till i buy my hopefully ginormous acreage of land to have a nice forge.
