Hi, Great to see this site up & going. An excellant way for those of us that know each other to keep in touch & a great way to help those getting started. I am a member of the Sask Knife Makers Guild & have been making knives for about 15 years. Most of my blades are forged out of recycled steel. My favorites- ball bearings & cultivator shovels. I live in Manitoba but keep in touch with my knife compadres in Sask with a visit once a year or so. If I can figure out how, I will post some pics later.
Welcome to Sask Knifemakers. It's good to see someone who forges on here. We could use more expertise from the hot metal crowd. In the Help forum there's a brief howto, explaining how to post pictures. It takes longer to read the howto than to actually do it. If you still have trouble, send me a PM.
