    I have been making knives for a year or so. Looks like a great site!!! Any others from SK here??

    Welcome, Kevin. There are a few of us around from Sask, including one or two from the Sask Knifemaker's Guild, a real world (gasp!) group of knife makers.

    Good memory, Dan. Yes, the original idea for the forum was as an online extension of the Sask Knifemakers Guild. We moved past that original brief pretty soon after, when we saw the number of knifemakers across the country who were looking for a place to meet and share ideas.

    Another Kevin! Welcome! I'm close to Saskatchewan, being in Medicine Hat if that counts, but I am originally from Winnipeg, so I have a genetic hatred for Rider fans!! I do however spend time in SK offroading, down in Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park during the summer months.
