Built a small propane "forge" from a Costco tin coffee can about a month ago. Was making mini swords for my 5 yr old son. Started with 4" nails...then 6" then 12" spikes. Next thing I know I made something resembling a dagger from rebar, then something resembling a knife. Yesterday I made my first set on tongs and this hobby grows fast on me. Stumbled upon this site surfing the internet on how to make a bigger forge and bigger propane burner. Might try the burner I see in this forum and if it works well I may try to build a forge from an old propane tank.
Love what I see so far on this site. Seems friendly and full of good tips.
Wish me luck, I need it!
